Telstra grant approved ... $1000 worth of equipment ($500 for field equipment, $300 for coaches' kit, $200 for training kit).

NCZFI AGM on 25th November at Woolgoolga Services Club.

NCZFI committee of management nomination forms if anyone interested.

Treasurer's Report : monthly financial statement tabled and accepted.

President's Report : Website is up and running, NCZFI President's meeting has effects upon Valley United re dual regisatration for 2007 .. discuss further at next meeting.

Coronation Park Trust report : The executive voted in at the AGM are Gary Grenenger (Pres), Stuart Field (V.Pres), Robyn Kennedy (Treasurer), Carmel Hall (Secretary) and Tommy Robbins (Public Officer).

The shelters for the technical area on field 2 have been approved by the trust pending engineering approval from the Council.

The Trust voted to support the Council appointing a 'grants manager' as a trial.

General Business : Need to do a stocktake before next meeting so we can order gear for next year. Committee to discuss at the next meeting, any gear needed for next year.

Challenge Cup permission letters to be sent to Council, NCZFI and Coronation Park Trust ... to be done by Peter L

Next meeting to concentrate on 30th Challenge Cup organisation for 2007.

    Coronation Park Trust report :

    Clash with Senior Rugby League trial game and Challenge Cup. Special meeting of Coronation Trust called for Wednesday 24 th January at 7.00pm at Leagues Club to sort the clash out.

    General Business :

    Registration days : Saturdays 10th and 17th February 2007 followed by the 24 th as a morning at Coronation Park (if it doesn't clash with cricket) where teams are put together and coaches/managers sorted out...this is last day of payment.

    Roster for Canteen/Lions Van for Challenge Cup ready for registration days.

    John Cassidy to send a letter to Plaza management as a courtesy to hold registration days.

    Working Bee for Dug Out : Saturday 3 rd February 9.00 am

    Seek permission from Coronation Park Trust to put in cement steps to the canteen/change rooms before Challenge Cup.

    Junior Training 2007 starts 5 th March: 6-9yrs Tues 4.30 - 5.30 then ½ hour with individual coach, 10-16yrs Thurs 4.30 - 5.30 then ½ hour with individual coach .. providing it does not clash with cricket.

    Registration fees to be kept the same unless any major increase imposed by NCZFI.

    Non-competitive players to receive a training ball when fully registered.

    Robyn K to order socks and shorts for sale to players.

    Robyn K to check out range hood and/or exhaust fan for canteen.

    Peter L : Challenge Cup letters to be sent Chris Waller and then Lions Club about hiring their van. Also another letter to council addressed to Michael Coulter.

More people are needed to do raffles at Nambucca Leagues & Sports Club .. Peter L to organise a roster of teams when season starts.

Robyn K to see Barry Hezlett about sponsoring new perpetual trophies for each Challenge Cup division ... Barry expressed a wish to sponsor in some form.

Robyn K to organise small trophies (with a a cup involved) for Challenge Cup in all divisions. Perpetual trophies to stay at the Nambucca Leagues & Sports Club.

Discussion about discount of playing fees for coaches .... held in abeyance to be discussed next meeting.

Challenge Cup : Jeff T to organise turf for the steps.

Robyn K to see Lions Club contact about Lions Club van use ... only have verbal confirmation at the moment.

    Correspondence In:- 10 - 12 years girls will be playing SSG for the first time this season.

    Junior coaching course open for applications, closing date 18/04/07.

    Referees course to be held 31/03/07and 01/04/07, David Frost and Tegan Eadie to attend.

    Ground availability confirmation request from NCF for making seasons draws. Reply forwarded by Secretary.

    Press release from FFA announcing the Matilda's will be playing their Olympic qualifiers at Coffs Stadium and asking clubs to forward game information to their members.

    Nambucca Neighbourhood Centre informed us that they are starting a hire bus service for non-profit organizations. 12 seater drive yourself. Phone 65682305.

    Head Coaches Report:- Frank Farina and Tiptop held a coaching seminar at Coffs Stadium which we were lucky enough to have 9 in attendance. Received 90 training bibs on the day and once signed up to the programme will receive balls, training DVD's, and access to an interactive web site. Programme is aimed at 6-8 years and 9-12 years. We are asked to buy Tiptop bread for our canteen. John Cassidy to sign the club in to the programme.

    Jeff Thorn asked to buy training goals and soft balls for heading practice and wobble boards for strengthening joints.

    Coronation Trust Report:- Problem with the Trust minutes, our representative Peter Lennox was unable to accept them at the last meeting.

    General Business:- Write an invitation to Nambucca High School to request their art students to decorate our new dugouts with an appropriate mural. John C

    Write letters to Coronation Park Trust and Leagues and Sports Club requesting removal of a tree screening a view of the ground from the soon to be completed extension. We have volunteered labour and replacement trees. John C.

    Jo Deans thanked all those who helped in the canteen and lions club van over the Challenge Cup weekend.

    Valley United : motion : that, if agreeable with the Macksville Football Club, all teams (both male and female) from 15 years up register with the junior club that controls the senior football but be called Valley United.

    Jeff Thorn & Peter Lennox to attend next Macksville meeting for discussion about this proposal.

    Signed Jets Shirt can be obtained and a bus can be obtained to see a Jets game. Bus is paid for but adults have to pay their own entry tickets. Could we also organise two junior teams to play a game before a Jets game ? (all through Jury's IGA) ... John Cassidy & John McRae to look into.

Want Men, Women, Social, Junior, Mixed divisions depending on numbers. There will be NO SLIDE TACKLING and is to be promoted as a 'social' competition. John C to send information to primary schools. Leagues & Sports Club interested in supporting the six-a-side competition.

VALLEY UNITED : Peter L to send a submission to NCZF re admission to Premier League (1 st & 2 nd Division) in 2008.
